Yesterday I begged Maggie to take me to the scout store and help me get the stuff Andrew needs for his first pack meeting this week. I was so overwhelmed. I'm wondering what we have gotten ourselves into.

You're doing the best thing you can for Andrew. Scouting is a great thing for boys especially nowadays. It's a long way off but being an Eagle Scout is the only thing he can put on his resume for the rest of his life. People will still think it's a wonderful accomplishment even when he's 50.
