Today we went to Seven Peaks in Provo. We all had a great time. The kids are total dare devils and constantly amaze me with what they are willing to try. I admire their enthusiasm. It's totally contagious.
Yesterday our family attended the open house for the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. It was a beautiful temple and we felt the Spirit while watching the movie, especially when they talked about our ancestors. The temple tour was hot, slow and tedious but I am still glad we went.
Andrew, Andrew, Andrew. Why can't you sleep like a normal person? Now do you understand why no one wants to share a bed with you while on vacation? Try sleeping straight, try to not kick all your blankets on the floor and try to keep your pillow case on. There is no way that can be comfortable.
I have been dying to get my blanket started but I hated to until I got further into the fall one. Once I felt like I had done enough I started laying this out. I couldn't get the blue to work for me and with that gone the mint green was standing out. Once I took those out I fell in love.
Yesterday may have been Pioneer Day but tonight was the fireworks. Our awesome neighbors put on a show and we went out to watch. We really love our neighbors.
(This could have been a great shot had I not been hanging out of a moving car with a low battery.) It is time for back to shopping. Today we shopped until we just about dropped. It was hot and at times horrid but we got some screamin' deals.
Tonight I decided that it was time to pull the weeds that had gotten taller than my tomato plants. I found a few lady bugs while I was out there. I think that they are my favorite insect. Of course that's not saying much.
