Monday

Tonight Andrew came downstairs long after he was suppose to be in bed. He was so excited to show me his Transformer. It didn't matter that it was something I had seen many times before. He was so enthusiastic about showing it (the things he will do to avoid sleeping) to me again that I couldn't resist listening to him.

My Baby

This past week I was asking my friends on Facebook if anyone had a little girl I could borrow. I was yearning for the good ol' days full of pink, plastic, crappy toys like Strawberry Shortcake and Littlest Pet Shop. When Emma came in wearing this shirt I couldn't help it. I hugged her and cried a little. She's still my little girl.

Saturday

Are you ready for some football? BYU started their season today playing against Oklahoma University in the new Dallas Stadium and they won! Go Cougars!

247/365

My mom and dad came for a visit today. I had asked my dad if he could teach the kids how to fish and today was the day. We went up to Tibble Fork Reservoir to practice. Andrew has now earned his fishing belt loop and arrow points for all the activities associated with fishing. We didn't catch anything but we had fun! I love this picture because it shows how interested they were in everything that grandpa was doing.

I have to admit something...

yesterday is the second time this year that I have forgotten to take a photo. Yesterday I took my camera everywhere but never used it. I got a really bad headache in the evening and went to bed around 9:00pm and never thought about taking a picture again. Two times out of the year is really not that bad, right? I snapped this one this morning and just plan to count it as yesterday.
Paul and I have been using this video for the last couple of days. It sucks, we ache but something needed to happen. Wish us luck.

Onto the next project

I have started my autumn wall hanging. This one is super easy, super quick and I hope it ends up super cute.

Favorite Things

One of my most favorite things in the world is vertical/misshapen pumpkins. Guess what? I'm growing one. It's a dream come true. Look at it in all of it's wonky glory. Could it be any more imperfect? I wonder how long before the weight of it rips it off my fence...
